They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

Hi, I’m Devon — the heart behind Kitchen Made Menus.

I created Kitchen Made Menus as a tool — not just to relieve the stress of meal planning, but to help people get back to the dinner table.

I would often come home from the grocery store with $200 worth of food… and still have no idea what was for dinner. I’d spend hours trying to plan out meals, only to get overwhelmed by endless recipes and long ingredient lists. Every time, I’d fall out of the habit, frustrated and burned out.

I thought there had to be a better way.

So, I started writing down meals I liked. I asked my husband what he actually wanted to eat. I swapped favorites with friends. Slowly, something beautiful began to take shape — a growing list of real-life dinners that actually worked, meals we looked forward to.

All the while, I had been praying for a way to help my family — and other families — find more connection in the chaos of everyday life. Kitchen Made Menus grew from that prayer. It’s about more than just what’s for dinner; it’s about creating space for laughter, conversation, and the kind of connection that sticks with you.

This isn’t just another meal plan. It’s a thoughtfully designed year of dinners to help you rediscover joy in the kitchen — and ultimately, joy in the connections you make around the dinner table.

Every recipe uses simple ingredients, intuitive steps, and a rhythm that makes cooking feel less like a chore and more like something you might actually enjoy.

At its core, the mission of Kitchen Made Menus is connection. Recipes are just the tool — what I really hope is that this gives you more time to be with the people you love. More time to linger at the table, share stories, and make memories that last longer than the meal.

If you’re feeling pulled in every direction, if getting dinner on the table feels impossible some days, or if you’re just trying to connect with the people you love — I hope this helps you do that.

Here’s to full hearts, shared meals, and time well spent.
